ABOUT US

Who We Are

TW Waste Paper is a proudly South African company that was founded over 20 years ago. In this period, it has grown into a company that purchases, collects, processes and recycles all forms of metals (ferrous and non-ferrous), wastepaper, glass, and plastic.

We specialize in comprehensive waste management solutions for a wide range of businesses located in and around the Western Cape region. Our commitment to sustainability and efficiency sets us apart in the industry.

Waste Management Solutions

Located in Brackenfell, our salvage yard is meticulously maintained to ensure optimal operations. Here, we effectively process and repurpose various materials, contributing to the circular economy and minimizing environmental impact.

By leveraging our expertise in waste management, we help enterprises streamline their operations, reduce costs, and meet their sustainability goals.

We are committed to protecting the environment and have a 0-to-landfill goal with the materials we collect. Our over 90 employees at our sorting and processing facilities receive continuous training on the best possible practices to make this goal a reality.

Transforming Waste Into Resources

Every month, we proudly process and recycle a substantial volume of materials, contributing to a sustainable and eco-friendly future. Through our efficient waste management practices, we handle large quantities of recyclables and ensure their proper disposal or repurposing.

Our state-of-the-art facilities enable us to process an impressive amount of paper and cardboard, totaling 1200 tons every month. These materials are carefully sorted, cleaned, and transformed into valuable resources, ready to be reintegrated into the production cycle.

Additionally, we process and recycle 400 tons of steel monthly. Steel, being a highly valuable and endlessly recyclable material, undergoes a meticulous process to extract its full potential and minimize waste.

Furthermore, we take great pride in recycling 60 tons of plastic each month. By employing advanced recycling techniques, we ensure that this non-biodegradable material finds new life as raw materials for various industries, reducing the demand for virgin plastic and mitigating its environmental impact.

Not only do we process and recycle these substantial amounts of recyclables, but we also play a vital role in their distribution. We sell a significant portion of the processed paper, cardboard, steel, and plastic to local mills, supporting the local economy and promoting the concept of a circular economy.
